Health and Safety Officer Overview:

At Assocengrs, we prioritize the health and safety of our employees and the community. We are seeking a dedicated Health and Safety Officer to join our team and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, develop safety protocols, and promote a culture of safety within the organization.

Job Description

The Health and Safety Officer will be responsible for implementing and monitoring health and safety programs, conducting inspections, identifying hazards, and providing training to employees. Additionally, they will collaborate with management to develop and maintain safety policies and procedures and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field.
• Certification in Occupational Health and Safety (e.g., CSP, OHST, CHST) preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in occupational health and safety, preferably in the engineering or construction industry.
• Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations, standards, and best practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively train and educate employees on safety procedures.
• Experience conducting safety inspections and audits, and implementing corrective actions as needed.

Salary and Benefits:

• Salary: $90,000 - $120,000 per year, depending on experience<
